The purpose of the course is to describe the main advanced technologies
for image analysis and processing.
Techniques for extracting
informations from 3D images and images sequences are illustrated,
with regard to the recognition phase.
Students receive the
basis to comprehend the current state of the art in research and
computer vision applications, both from analysis and images sinthesis
(computer graphics) point of view. Techniques for multisensorial images
and data merging are reviewed too.
